Throughout the history of photography, buildings have always been highly valued photographic subjects. The change of time, the change of culture, the change of taste and style – all these you can find in the architectural photography.

This quarter, we would like to encourage you to look at your surrounding and find the different perspective to maximize respective elements of each building.  You can play with exterior architectural photography where you need the available light by day or when shooting at night use ambient light from neighboring street lights or building’s light. You can also experiment with the interior shots using both ambient light and flash strobes.  Architectural images shouldn’t just be aesthetic and graphic; they should also provide dynamism and movement – so play with the lines, the light and the shadows to provide interesting perspective.

The jury will evaluate your creativity, technical quality and uniqueness of the content.

Happy shooting and we look forward to your submissions!
