Dear PICZ members,

We invite you for our Summer party in the Hunziker Areal, and to discover the new Club’s Address at the Genossenschaftsstrasse 13, 8050 Zürich for a PICZ grill.

Your +1 and children are welcome to join, there is enough space and plenty of playgrounds around.

In case of rain, the party is still on, we will not grill under the rain but we will adapt the plan to in one of the sheltered areas.

The club will organise some drinks for all. For the food and any special addition, we will do a potluck style. Everybody bring a little to share with all. 

About the location and why to bring your photography gear: 

This representative Cooperative quartier is well-known for its way of integrating people in the urban development process, its social and cultural life, as well as for its architecture.

Direct surroundings are also of interest for modern architecture like the school of Leutschenbach, and the business district with the Dudlers Hochhaus, just to list a few.

Oerlikon generally offers other interesting opportunities for modern architecture: MFO Park, Train Station, Glattpark area, etc. It might be worth having your photography gear and planning your day accordingly.

Remember that next year’s Photo Munsingen competition topic is “Urban”, so you can start thinking of the panel images you want to put together and take the opportunity of an urban environment as well !
