Join PICZ on a walk in [hopefully!] a winter wonderland with a mixture of hills, snowy plains and the architecture of the monastery at Einsie

deln and whatever else we find along the way.
We will walk towards Trachslau (and depending how fast we are progressing turn around at some point) to head back to Einsiedeln, finishing at the monastery (Kloster). For those that wish, we can find a café for lunch and continue the walk the other side of the monastery.

You should bring

• Your preferred camera and lenses
• Drinks & snacks
• Good walking shoes and appropriate clothing considering the weather which may be very cold and snowy (hat, gloves, good shoes, plenty of layers)

Getting there
By train from Zurich HB:
Take the S25 toward Linthal at 09:43, changing at 10:00 at Wädenswil to the S13 towards Einsideln. At Einsideln, walk out of the station through the car park at the rear and at the roundabout, take the third exit (Grotzenmühlestrasse) and walk approximately 1km to the parking just beyound the Werkhof, opposite the snow sports equipment hire shop.

By car:
There is some limited parking opposite the shop for hiring cross country skiing equipment. Location is 47.121851, 8.734713.

Meeting up
We will meet at the parking on Grotzenmühlestrasse.
This event is open to members and non-members of PICZ, but please register so we know who to expect. It will take place except in case of bad weather (heavy precipitation and/or wind or extremely low temperature) in which case we will inform you.
